Mothiana Figure

Mothiana is a benevolent shape-shifter. She is the guardian of dark places and a protector of those who are lost. She resides half in the spirit realm and half in our world. The spectral dust that cloaks her form can appear as smoke as she shifts between planes.
 
She's misunderstood by the real world as her looks can be deceiving. When she senses danger she changes her form to become a large anthropomorphic moth.
 
Little is known about her and how she came to be but there are many tales about her told by locals and the archeological finds of small carven figures date back hundreds of years depict a young beautiful girl with glowing red insectile eyes. She is a myth in their eyes, a creature of superstition and fear. But in the depths of the trees, Mothiana is simply herself, an enigmatic presence, weaving in and out of the twilight. If you ever see large red glowing orbs in the forest darkness you may be in the presence of mothiana there to help you escape the forest or they may be the last thing you ever see.
